To make the perfect sip, the espresso is cooled by shaking it with ice and syrup. Then, it’s topped with milk and a touch of cinnamon.
4. Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew Coffee
What’s in it: Cold Brew Coffee, Nitro Gas
When Starbucks launched cold brew in 2015, this new type of cold coffee beverage was an immediate hit.
The cold brew itself is sweeter than regular iced coffee since the brewing method reduces acidity. And infusing the cold brew with nitrogen gas adds even more sweetness without added sugar.
As a bonus, nitro cold brew is smooth, bubbly, sweet and super cold—so cold, it doesn’t need ice!
To take it over the top, order nitro cold brew with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. The ribbons of cream are so enticing.

Chocolate lovers may be excited by this beverage, but beware, it’s not as decadent as its name implies.

On top of that it lacks Starbucks signature creaminess, which is easily solved by swapping the almond milk for a dairy option.

Starbucks handcrafted iced shaken espresso beverages are one of their best iced coffee drinks to get if you want a flavorful cup of coffee that’s not swimming in sugar.
This is because shaken espressos have one more shot of espresso than other drinks of the same size and half the amount of syrup.
To make an Iced Shaken Espresso the barista shakes together classic syrup, espresso and ice. The drink is topped with cold milk.
16. Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte
What’s in it: Cinnamon Dolce Syrup, Brewed Espresso, Milk, Ice, Whipped Cream, Cinnamon Dolce Topping

Differences between Starbucks Iced Coffee, Cold Brew and Iced Espresso
Starbucks serves three types of cold coffee: regular iced coffee, cold brew coffee and iced espresso.
Each coffee is brewed differently which results in different flavors and caffeine content.
Starbucks regular iced coffee is made by hot-brewing coffee and is the least expensive way to enjoy iced coffee at Starbucks. Starbucks iced coffee is automatically sweetened with Classic syrup, but you can order it sugar-free.
Starbucks does not have decaf iced coffee, but you can get a decaf Pike Place pour-over.
Starbucks cold brew is slowly brewed for 20 hours in room temperature water. This method results in a highly caffeinated brew that’s has a smoother, sweeter flavor than regular iced coffee. For this reason, an unflavored cup of cold brew is not automatically sweetened.
Starbucks does not have decaffeinated cold brew.
Iced espresso drinks at Starbucks, like lattes, mochas, macchiatos and shaken espressos, begin with freshly-brewed espresso shots. Most Starbucks iced espresso drinks come with flavored syrup.
To get a decaf cold coffee from Starbucks order any iced espresso drink with decaffeinated brewed espresso.
